Who we are, what we do?
ADSSC
ADSSC was previously operated and maintained by the Municipalities of Abu Dhabi and Al Ain. The company was established in June 2005 as a public organization wholly owned by the Abu Dhabi government and part of Abu Dhabi WEA.
In September 2009, ADSSC was re-established as an independent company and was separated from ADWEA. ADSSC’s operating license stipulates protecting the environment, public health and customer interests by regulating the activities of wastewater collection, treatment and the safe and sustainable disposal of end products.
Who do we serve?
ADSSC’s sewerage networks and sewage treatment plants service the majority of the population of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and meet the needs of local businesses and industry. They also provide a sustainable supply of water for irrigation of agricultural and landscaped areas in the Emirate. The system is operated in such a manner as to prevent environmental impact and public disturbance.
ADSSC is committed to delivering reliable sewerage and water treatment services to Abu Dhabi, improving customer service levels and simultaneously meeting the increased demand for sewerage and recycled water.
