Waste Water Collection
- Waste Water Collection network comprises of extensive under ground pipelines and above-ground pumping stations, to facilitate smooth flow. |
| Core Business Area # 2 |
Waste Water Treatment- Waste Water Treatment facilities exist in Abu Dhabi (Mafraq) and Al Ain, in addition to smaller packaged plants in lesser populated areas. Both Mafraq and Al Ain plants are operating above their design capacities. Four new treatment plants are currently under construction, as part of the BOOT project, to alleviate the load on existing plants and handle future loads. |

Waste Water Disposal-
Waste Water Disposal is managed very effectively. Bulk of the Treated waste water (TSE) is supplied to the Municipality for horticulture purposes. Projects are in progress to construct TSE transportation facilities (pipelines) in order to provide remaining TSE (about 30%) to the Municipality, in due course. |
